Job Title: Solar & TNB Technical Consultant— Grid Interconnection Advisor

Job Type: Contract / Consultant (Flexible)/ Freelancer

Location: (Remote/Hybrid available depending on requirements)

About Us:
We are a company developing solar projects (solar farm/rooftop) and are looking for a technical consultant to assist with liaison with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) for grid connection applications, technical approvals, and related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor grid connection applications with TNB (NEM, LSS, CGPP, or other related schemes)
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and TNB engineers/officers for technical matters
• Prepare/review technical documents such as System Impact Study, single line diagrams, protection coordination
• Provide advice on regulatory requirements and TNB compliance
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues arising during the approval process
• Provide regular updates to management on application status

Requirements:

• Experience in the solar/renewable energy industry AND/OR previously worked with TNB (Distribution/Transmission/Grid) — retirees are encouraged to apply
• Understanding of TNB's technical processes and requirements for solar grid connection
• Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Power Systems is an advantage
• Able to work part-time/flexibly according to project needs
• Good communication skills for liaising with authorities and internal teams
