Manager (Human Resources)

Key responsibilities:

As the HRBP and HR Operations Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Partner with business and service unit leaders to translate organizational priorities into practical workforce and people plans;
• Lead day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate records, consistent service delivery, and compliance with legal and organizational requirements;
• Oversee key employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, salary review, compensation and benefits, and staff movement;
• Provide professional HR advice to managers on workforce issues, employee relations, grievances, disputes, and performance concerns;
• Drive workforce planning, talent development, training, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives to support organizational growth;
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and HR operations improvement projects, including HRIS and HR digital transformation; and
• Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in HRM, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR work experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Hands-on experience in Payroll administration and HRIS system management
• Well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related statutory regulations
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Well organized, proactive, and a strong team player with detailed planning, multi-tasking, and issue resolution abilities
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude, capable of motivating teams, fostering a positive workplace culture, and providing timely feedback
• Proficient in HRM systems, with strong technical skills in MS Office applications, particularly advanced MS Excel.

Work Location: Lam Tin

The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service/operational needs of the department and the candidate’s performance.
