Job Summary

Support construction projects by preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing specifications, managing tender processes, and using AutoCAD to draft designs, ensuring accurate budgeting and contract preparation.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical and feasibility studies to assess project viability and requirements

Source and evaluate quotations and rates from suppliers and contractors to optimize project costs

Participate in tendering processes by preparing tender documents and performing cost analyses to support bidding decisions

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects to ensure budget adherence

Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material, labor, and time requirements for effective planning

Prepare contracts detailing quantities of required materials to support procurement and project execution

Develop plans, budgets, and Bills of Quantities to facilitate project management and financial control

Submit quotations and manage progress claims, progress payments, Variation Orders (VO), and finalize accounts to ensure financial accuracy

Use AutoCAD proficiently to draft and design project plans and technical drawings for clear communication

Apply civil and mechanical engineering work experience to support project tasks and technical evaluations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Work experience in civil engineering
