Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled Outsystems Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using the Outsystems platform. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business requirements and enhance customer experience.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Outsystems Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications using the Outsystems platform. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet business requirements and enhance customer experience.

Outsystem Developer Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deploy applications using the Outsystems low‑code platform.

2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

3. Integrate Outsystems applications with external systems via APIs and web services.

4. Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

5. Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality delivery.

6. Maintain and enhance existing Outsystems applications.

7. Document technical specifications and provide support for deployment.

8. Stay updated with Outsystems best practices and emerging features.

Application Developer Requirements

1. Diploma or higher in computer science or relevant field
2. 4+ years of experience in Outsystems development.
3. Strong knowledge of Outsystems architecture, modules, and components.
4. Knowledge of database such as MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
5. Knowledge of Machine Learning is a bonus
6. Understanding of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON).
7. Interested in No-code development
8. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
9. Ability to elicit business requirements from clients
10. Great understanding of software design and programming principles
11. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on project’s success
12. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
13. Certified application developer is a plus
14. Must be service oriented, able to build rapport with customers and willing to go the extra mile
15. Resourceful, adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
16. Strong time management skills and able to complete tasks on schedule
