DTH Travel Hiring! Full Time Finance Manager in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are seeking for a Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations in our Malaysia entity. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and has a solid background in the travel, hospitality, or related service industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Manage unit-level reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
• Prepare monthly management report to Group in line with reporting timelines.
• Oversee tax compliance, statutory filings, and annual audits in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring effective working capital control and payment processes.
• Review and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures.
• Partner with management to provide financial insights and support on operational and strategic matters.
• Work closely with regional finance teams on reporting schedules and group-wide initiatives

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 8-10 years of finance or accounting experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role, ideally in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit practices.
• Experience with Tourplan is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and countries.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
