Senior Backend Developer (.NET + AWS)

Experience: 5+ years

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and maintain SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and query optimization.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Implement serverless and containerized solutions using AWS services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with comprehensive unit tests.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET (.NET Core/.NET 6/7/8).
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services:
• AWS Lambda
• Amazon ECS
• Amazon SQS
• Amazon API Gateway
• Amazon S3
• AWS CloudFormation
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Unit Testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior backend engineer with strong expertise in .NET and SQL Server, practical experience building applications on AWS, and exposure to TypeScript/Node.js. The candidate should be comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern backend architectures.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
