Job description:

• Responsible for supporting packaging engineering initiatives and processes from concept to production stages.
• Work closely with act managers & manufacturing teams to ensure smooth implementation of packaging designs, provide guidance and support during the production process.
• Analyze drawings and specifications of products to determine physical characteristics of items and types of materials required for packaging.
• Troubleshoot new and existing packaging problems involving designs, materials, and processes to enhance packaging designs and optimize production efficiency.
• Train and guide Junior Packaging Design Engineer in term of process working flow and design.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in packaging design, product packaging development or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of packaging materials such as corrugated cartons, foam, labels and protective packaging.
• Strong problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
• Familiar with AutoCAD. Understanding of packaging testing standards and validation processes.
• At least 4 years of working experience in related field.
