Role Description The Deployment Technician role is a contract, on-site position based in Singapore. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying Hivebotics robotic systems within customer facilities, including initial setup of hardware, software, and network connections. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostic checks, resolving technical issues, and ensuring robots operate reliably in real-world environments. The Deployment Technician collaborates with internal engineering and support teams, provides hands-on guidance to customers, and documents installation procedures and system changes. The role may also involve routine maintenance visits, firmware updates, and feedback collection to help improve future deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Repair for hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, investigate, and resolve system issues on-site.
• Experience with Software Installation and basic system configuration in Windows or Linux environments.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, or IoT devices is advantageous.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and deployment checklists.
• Comfort working in customer facilities, with a focus on safety, professionalism, and clear communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
