We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to be a part of our team in Kuching, managing day-to-day freight forwarding, export/import clearance and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder management

• Track status of shipments and update relevant stakeholders timely.
• Support transport/haulage planner counterparts to liaise with client for cargo delivery/collection.
• Liaise with client and stevedore for timing of devanning work, as and when required.
• To compile shipping documents, delivery orders and invoices for clients, and to arrange to send by courier or by hand where necessary.

2. Customs clearance

• Prepare/compile and verify completeness of shipping documents.
• Apply for relevant export/import permits, where necessary.
• Interface with shipping agencies for release of documents for import clearance.
• Interface with other relevant authorities e.g. Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Department of Agriculture, Kuching Port Authority.
• To draft and to register electronic customs declarations.
• Take measures to expedite export/import clearance as and when required.

3. Freight Forwarding

• Assist to plan and to identify suitable freight routes and schedules.
• Canvas for and make freight booking.

Requirements:

• A team player with a proactive approach to work and a growth mindset.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Possess own transport.

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior work experience in supply chain and logistics. Recent graduates who are eager are encouraged to apply.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying tasks and priorities.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
