Your new role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company's expansion within Malaysia's rapidly growing prefabricated, modular, and precast construction sector. Your primary focus will be identifying and securing new business opportunities while developing long-term partnerships with modular manufacturers, precast producers, industrialised building system (IBS) players, consultants, engineers, and specialist contractors.

You will be responsible for market mapping, customer acquisition, solution selling, and promoting integrated construction solutions tailored to factory-based manufacturing and modular construction environments. Working closely with technical, marketing, and regional stakeholders, you will position the company's products and systems within major prefab and modular projects while driving revenue growth and market penetration.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual with strong industry knowledge, established networks within the prefab or precast ecosystem, and a passion for driving innovation in modern construction methods.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven business development or sales experience within construction materials, prefab, modular construction, precast concrete, IBS, or related construction solutions
• Strong network with modular manufacturers, precast producers, consultants, engineers, contractors, and industry stakeholders
• Technical understanding of modular construction, precast manufacturing processes, or factory-based construction workflows
• Track record of new business acquisition, commercial negotiation, and account development
• Ability to present technical and commercial solutions to customers and project stakeholders
• Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable operating within a growth-focused environment
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally across Southeast Asia
