Company Description UCSI Hospital is a modern healthcare facility designed to deliver world-class care close to home across a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, orthopedics, and more. Located on a 40-acre site at Bandar Springhill in Negeri Sembilan, the hospital opened in 2021 as a 130-bed facility. It is planned to grow significantly over time, with a future capacity of up to 1,000 beds. The hospital’s multidisciplinary environment offers collaborative practice opportunities and access to advanced diagnostics and treatment technologies. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cardiologist role based in Springhill, Lukut, Negeri Sembilan. The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care, including outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and follow-up for patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions. Daily responsibilities include performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans. The role may involve interventional procedures depending on training and hospital needs, participation in case discussions, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines. The Cardiologist will also be expected to contribute to quality improvement activities, patient education, and clinical documentation that supports high standards of safety and care.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Medicine with relevant postgraduate training and board certification or equivalent in Cardiology.
  • Clinical expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
  • Competence in Interventional Cardiology procedures, where applicable to scope of practice and hospital services.
  • Experience or training in Nuclear Medicine or vascular imaging relevant to cardiac diagnostics and management.
  • Valid medical license and specialist registration (or eligibility) in the appropriate jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuing medical education, adherence to evidence-based practice, and participation in clinical audits or quality initiatives.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties, emergency coverage, and flexible scheduling based on departmental needs.
