Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in implementing and maintaining the daily Quality Operation.

2. Conduct incoming / in-process / final inspections of products.

3. Support root cause analysis for quality issues and non-conformances.

4. Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.

5. Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with standards (e.g., ISO) and customer requirement.

6. Monitor and audit production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures.

7. Work closely with Engineer and production teams to resolve quality-related issues.

8. Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) implementation.

9. Ensure proper handling of defective or rejected materials.

10. Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements Education

1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing / related field)

Experience

1. > 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control

2. Knowledge and practical in surface finishing industries.

Skills & Competencies

1. Basic knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools)

2. Understanding of ISO 9001 standards

3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills

4. LEAN Six Sigma Green / Black belt (Advantage)

Strong attention to detail

1. Good communication and teamwork skills

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)

3. Preferred Qualifications (Advantage)

4. Experience in manufacturing environment

5. Knowledge of inspection tools (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer)

6. Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys)

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
