Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of security and IT-related systems at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of security systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and rectify system faults and technical issues.
Support the maintenance of equipment such as CCTV, access control systems and related devices.
Carry out system testing, updates and basic troubleshooting.
Coordinate with customers and subcontractors on site activities and maintenance schedules.
Prepare maintenance reports, checklists and related documentation.
Monitor spare parts and equipment status.
Support system improvement and maintenance-related projects when required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Electrical or IT.
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical environment.
Experience with security systems or project-related work will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of security systems, servers or networking will be an advantage.
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to be on standby for after-hours fault calls on a rotational basis.
