Brief Summary:
The Project Director will spearhead digital transformation initiatives, focusing on the transition to autonomous production processes. This leadership role requires a strategic mindset to drive significant operational improvements in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and implement the autonomous manufacturing vision for a center of excellence in global production.
• Lead multiple projects while influencing cross-organizational operations.
• Foster a workplace culture aligned with core values, promoting teamwork and employee ownership of career paths.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure accurate impact validation.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements and align on application needs.
• Guide digital transformation initiatives, emphasizing advanced applications in maintenance and automation.
• Cultivate a digital-first culture through workforce upskilling and effective change management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to execute Industry 4.0 use cases across production areas.
• Oversee technology integration, including automation, robotics, AI, and IoT, into production processes.
• Lead project planning and implementation for software systems and platforms.
• Facilitate data-driven problem-solving workshops, promoting sustainable solutions.
• Manage operations teams to implement and maintain industry best practices.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in technical and software application deployment.
• Background in management consulting or manufacturing process change related to Industry 4.0.
• Proven record of executing digital transformation projects on a global scale.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with change management expertise.
• Leadership capabilities with proficiency in manufacturing process optimization and data analytics.
• Experience with IoT, AI, robotics, and digital platforms.
• Familiarity with smart factory technologies such as MES, ERP, and PLM.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with a focus on collaborating across global teams.
• Ability to translate digital strategies into measurable outcomes with a forward-thinking approach.
