The Solution Architect works across pre-sales and post-sales. You partner with BD to turn customer requirements into deployable solutions before a deal closes, then own onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning after it does.
The role covers all regions — Taiwan and international, and all product lines, so you'll design architectures that span multiple products. You're also the shortest path from customer reality to our roadmap: what you learn in the field goes straight to PM.
Responsibilities
- Pre-sales solutioning: Analyze requirements with BD, design the technical solution, and build the proposal — so feasibility is settled before signing
- Onboarding and configuration: Own system setup for new customers, handling it yourself or pulling in engineering as complexity demands, so they go live on schedule
- Troubleshooting and optimization: Lead diagnosis and root-cause analysis on customer issues, escalating complex cases to engineering, to keep systems stable
- Cross-region, full-portfolio coverage: Support customers in Taiwan and overseas (English for international accounts) across every product line, which means knowing each product's features, deployment models, and integration limits
- Market feedback: Channel customer pain points to PM so the roadmap tracks real demand
- Technical ownership: Act as the customer's primary technical contact and build the trust that drives renewal
Requirements
- 5+ years in SaaS or technical products with direct customer exposure — pre-sales, post-sales, support, or implementation
- Background in CS, ICT, networking, or cloud services, with the ability to turn business requirements into concrete architectures
- Track record of resolving technical issues independently, and judgment on when to escalate
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English — able to run customer meetings, deliver presentations, and write documentation in either
- Experience moving customer cases forward with sales, product, and engineering
- Able to run parallel cases, set priorities, and define problem boundaries
Nice to have
- Practical use of AI tools for documentation, diagnostics, or proposals
- International customers or cross-time-zone experience
- Customer reports, technical documentation, or usage data analysis
- CCNA / CCIE or equivalent
Location
- This role is open to candidates based in Taiwan, Singapore, or Malaysia.
- Taiwan-based hires work on-site from our Taipei office; Singapore and Malaysia-based hires work remotely.
Who does well here
- Structured: Untangles a messy technical or customer situation and states the problem and the fix clearly
- Closes loops: Checks the pre-sales-to-post-sales handoff for gaps instead of waiting to be pulled in
- Tool-minded: Optimizes repetitive work rather than brute-forcing output
- Outcome-oriented: Measures success by whether the customer can actually operate the solution, not by whether the technical answer was correct
- Forward-looking: Has a view on where the product and market are heading, and volunteers it
Not a fit if...
- You treat adoption and deal closure as sales' problem once the technical work ships
- You stall on ambiguous customer situations until someone writes a spec
- You keep the same technical depth regardless of who's listening
