Brief Summary:
Join an innovative team as a Network Operations Specialist, where you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing network performance. This role offers an opportunity to enhance your technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Tier-1 network monitoring and operations in a shift-based rotation, ensuring continuous service availability.
Respond promptly to network alarms and faults, escalating issues to tier-2 engineers as necessary.
Execute network break fixes including switch replacement and link repair in collaboration with IDC technicians.
Conduct routine network maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Document and share daily monitoring summaries and operational insights with the team.
Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
Degree or diploma in relevant field.
1-3 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
Understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
Strong attention to detail, responsible work ethic, and effective communication skills.
Experience in network troubleshooting and familiarity with Linux preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA/JNCIA are advantageous.
