Suria Mining Industries Sdn Bhd is a tin mining and processing company based in Gerik, Perak. We are seeking a qualified Geologist to support our mining operations and resource management.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys and mapping of mining areas
• Evaluate and estimate tin ore reserves and resource quality
• Analyze soil, rock, and mineral samples to guide extraction planning
• Monitor and advise on mining pit development and extraction sequencing
• Prepare geological reports and documentation for management and regulatory compliance
• Work closely with mine planning, operations, and processing teams to optimize ore recovery
• Ensure mining activities comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations
• Liaise with government departments (e.g., JMG - Jabatan Mineral dan Geosains) as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Earth Science, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years' relevant experience in mining (tin mining experience an advantage)
• Familiarity with mineral exploration, ore reserve estimation, and geological mapping tools
• Knowledge of Malaysian mining regulations and licensing requirements preferred
• Able to work on-site in Gerik, Perak
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Possess own transport; willing to travel to mine sites

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
