Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

• Handle incoming enquiries and meet clients to understand their renovation and design needs.

• Provide design consultation, including space planning and concept ideas.

• Prepare and present design proposals, quotations and project schedules.

• Follow up with clients, negotiate project scope and pricing, and close sales.

• Maintain proper records of leads, meetings and follow-up actions.

Design & Project Management

• Manage interior design projects from concept to completion.

• Develop space planning, layouts and design concepts based on client requirements and budget.

• Recommend suitable materials, finishes and products.

• Manage client expectations on project scope, cost and timeline.

• Coordinate design drawings, material selection and client approvals.

Site & Coordination

• Work closely with drafters, 3D designers, project teams, contractors and suppliers.

• Coordinate renovation schedules, deliveries and installation works.

• Conduct site visits when required to check progress and resolve project issues.

• Ensure site execution follows the approved design and project requirements.

• Provide regular project and sales updates to the reporting manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably in a client-facing or sales-related role.

• Good knowledge of space planning, concept development, material selection and project costing.

• Comfortable with client presentations, sales targets and follow-ups.

• Able to manage multiple projects and timelines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator or similar design software.

• Experience handling projects from sales and design through to completion is an advantage.

• Flexibility to attend to client or project requirements outside regular working hours when necessary.
