Role Description This is a full-time Presales Engineer role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, offered on a hybrid basis with flexibility for some work from home. The Presales Engineer collaborates with the sales team to understand customer requirements, prepare technical proposals, and demonstrate HSIA solutions to prospective clients. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical presentations, designing solution architectures, supporting integration and deployment planning, and responding to technical queries from prospects and partners. The role involves coordinating with product and engineering teams to validate feasibility, ensure security and compliance, and optimize configurations for each property. The Presales Engineer also assists in pilot projects, provides limited post-demo technical support, and contributes to documentation and best practices for the regional market.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Presales and Sales skills, including requirements discovery, solution positioning, and proposal preparation.
• Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Integration experience, especially in networking, cloud-based SaaS solutions, and interfacing with third-party systems.
• Candidates should possess Security awareness, including basic knowledge of network security, data protection, and best practices for secure HSIA deployments.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields are beneficial.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Wi-Fi standards), cloud platforms, and hospitality IT environments is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customers in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and occasionally travel to client sites within the region.
