About the Role

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper systems for leading car manufacturers worldwide. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the company's factory, office, and surrounding facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained working environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Conduct regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of factory buildings, offices, doors, windows, lighting, furniture, fixtures, and other facilities.
• Repair & Troubleshooting: Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, water supply, drainage, and other facility-related issues.
• General Maintenance: Carry out basic carpentry, painting, installation, renovation, and general repair works as required.
• Facility Support: Support facility setup, relocation, modification, and improvement works to ensure the workplace remains safe and functional.
• Contractor Coordination: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for facility repairs, servicing, inspections, and maintenance works.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance, Facility Management, or a related technical field.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, or a similar role. Fresh graduates may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, building maintenance, and general repair works.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle facility maintenance issues independently and respond to urgent repair requests when required.
• Responsible, practical, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a manufacturing environment, including overtime when required. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
