We are hiring a Cabling Engineer for a renowned Global Technology Client on a yearly renewable contract role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in mission‑critical data center environments with a great company culture and opportunities to learn and grow. In this role, you will provide cabling design management, coordination, and oversight services aligned with global infrastructure cabling standards.

Overview

This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role focused on structured cabling solutions in enterprise data centers. You will partner closely with internal technology teams (networking, server, security) and vendors to consolidate requirements, manage cabling projects, and ensure compliance with ISO/TIA standards. The role involves design, documentation, vendor coordination, and project delivery in live data center environments.

What you’ll do

• Provide cabling design management and coordination for new and existing data centers
• Prepare and coordinate tender documentation, design deliverables, and vendor evaluation support
• Consolidate cabling requirements with internal technology teams
• Manage cabling project activities including budget tracking, vendor coordination, design review, logistics, scheduling, commissioning, and handover
• Support project close‑out activities including operation manuals and as‑built documentation
• Maintain cabling documentation and patching records
• Coordinate move/add/change activities with operations teams and vendors
• Provide oversight outside normal business hours when required for installations, testing, or handover

What you’ll need

• Strong experience in structured copper and fiber cabling (Cat6A, OS2, OM4+)
• Knowledge of racks, cabinets, patching systems, and high‑density fiber cassette solutions
• Familiarity with LC, MPO/MTP interfaces for single/multimode fiber
• Experience with Fluke Network Instruments (DSX‑5000/8000 Cable Analyzer)
• Ability to produce/review technical design documentation using AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ISO/TIA cabling testing standards
• Experience operating safely in live data center environments

Desired Skills

• RCDD certification or familiarity with international cabling standards
• Experience delivering cabling services in mission‑critical or regulated environments
• Strong project management, documentation, and reporting skills
• Familiarity with Cisco and Arista equipment
