TNB Tenaga Malaysia to migrate its existing Cloudera data ecosystem to the modern Databricks Data Intelligence Platform (Lakehouse Architecture). This migration is not a mere technical uplift, but a critical enabler aligned directly with TNB's Reimagining TNB 2025 (RT25) strategy and its overarching Energy Transition (ET) Aspiration Plan, specifically supporting the Grid of the Future and Sustainability Pathway 2050 pillars.TNB?s existing Cloudera environment (v7.1.7) to the Databricks Lakehouse Platform using a ?Lift-and-Shift, then Modernize? approach.

This approach ensures minimal operational disruption during migration while establishing a scalable foundation for advanced analytics, AI, and domain-led modernization.

Technical Project Manager (Onsite ? Malaysia)

Role Summary

The Technical Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact at the client location and be responsible for planning, governance, coordination, reporting, risk management, and successful delivery of the migration program. The role will manage client engagement activities while coordinating multiple offshore delivery pods and ensuring project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
• Act as the primary onsite interface between client stakeholders and Happiest Minds delivery teams.
• Coordinate activities across Architecture, Data Engineering, BI, Cloud, and Testing workstreams.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, steering committee meetings, and status reviews.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly project status reports.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Manage scope changes and change request processes.
• Coordinate resource planning between onsite and offshore teams.
• Support sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.
• Drive issue resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate UAT, production deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Ensure compliance with project governance standards, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Manage vendor coordination involving AWS, Databricks, and third-party teams where required.
