General Summary:

Execute overall HW validation process in Test floor (Taiwan & Singapore) that includes but not limited to repair/assemble of Hardware, maintenance program implementation, and new equipment configuration qualification. Ensure high availability (uptime) of equipment as well as on time delivery. Carry out support role to a group of technicians and planner to ensure HW demand are appropriately supported. Work closely with counterparts from other regions for alignment and implementation of common tools and procedures.

Skills/Experience

• At least 2 years experience as Support/Equipment Engineer or similar role

• RF testing and engineering skills are preferred.

• Good English communication skills in both written and oral.

• Hands-on experience in Automated Test Equipment, Load-board, probe-card and test Hardware etc.

• Able to read schematic diagrams, can identify various electronic components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, relays, etc.)

• Basic electronic troubleshooting/debugging skills

• Microsoft Office and presentation Skills

• Can work both independently and as part of team

• Have the “can do” attitude and willing to learn new skills

Responsibilities

• Equipment resources allocation and management

• New hardware validation and buyoff

• Develop/Review of equipment maintenance SOP

• Budget management and cost reduction initiatives

• Equipment spare parts sourcing, ordering, control and management

• 24x7 technical support

• Analyze equipment/HW malfunctions and failures, monitor performance, and develop corrective actions

• Work with counterparts from other sites to develop equipment specifications for next generation products.

• Drive improvement in the performance, productivity, and efficiency of equipment and monitor KPIs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience.

OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
