Job Description

• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Develop, implement and maintain project Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists and records.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams on quality-related matters.

• Review material submissions, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and other technical documents.

• Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials and completed works.

• Identify, record and follow up on defects, non-conformance, and quality issues.

• Assist in preparing and closing NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective actions.

• Ensure all inspection and testing activities are properly documented.

• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials delivered to the site.

• Attend site meetings and provide updates on quality-related matters.

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications and project requirements.

• Coordinate with the project team to implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management or a related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC or construction is preferred.

• Experience in construction projects and site inspection is an advantage.

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and quality requirements.

• Familiar with ITP, Method Statement, NCR, inspection checklists and QA/QC documentation.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to work at construction sites and travel when required.
