Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operational readiness of Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus outlets and company facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repair works, and ensuring all facilities and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient working condition.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues in a fast-paced F&B environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Technical Support

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for company outlets, offices, and other facilities.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair works involving electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building facilities.
• Inspect and maintain outlet equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
• Attend to maintenance requests and technical issues within the required timeline.
• Identify potential equipment or facility issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Preventive Maintenance

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programmes for outlets and facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential defects and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed according to established schedules and standards.

Outlet Support & Coordination

• Provide technical support to Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus outlets on facility-related issues.
• Coordinate with outlet teams to understand and resolve maintenance concerns.
• Monitor the condition of outlet facilities, fixtures, fittings, and equipment.
• Support outlet opening, renovation, relocation, and refurbishment activities when required.

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialised repair and maintenance works.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed according to specifications.
• Verify completed work and report any quality or technical issues to the superior.
• Assist in obtaining quotations and assessing repair requirements when necessary.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take immediate corrective action.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of tools and maintenance equipment.
• Support facilities-related audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.

Team Support

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians when required.
• Assist the Facilities Manager/Supervisor in planning maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Support emergency maintenance and ad-hoc technical requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, or related technical fields.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, retail, hospitality, or F&B environments (Senior Level).
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
• Experience in troubleshooting and performing hands-on repair works.
• Experience supporting multiple outlets or locations is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and equipment manuals is preferred.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel to multiple outlet locations when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport is an added advantage.
• Willing to attend to emergency maintenance matters outside normal working hours when necessary.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
