Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operations of Lifescan Imaging centres and overseeing the frontline operations: All phone call /enquiries are answered in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling, welcome and greet patients, complete patient registration, and ensure billing and collections are handled properly and accurately.
- Ensure the patient reports are complete and delivered on time to the correct clinics.
- Provide financial counselling for patients, including Medisave and insurance coverage.
- Manage patients’ complaints and service recovery.
- Work with sales and radiography team, including radiologists, to ensure customers’ needs are met.
- Coordinate with health screening centre to ensure all the tests are planned and scheduled in the most efficient manner.
- Perform administrative duties that are pertinent to Imaging Centre operations and service standards, such as managing insurance claims, Medisave claims, procurement and maintenance functions, as well as licensing documentation.
- Monitor, improve and document systems and processes to improve organizational effectiveness and to enhance the quality of patient care continuously.
- Ensure records are kept consistently according to centre’s Standard Operating Procedures.
- Tracking and reporting of the key indicators of the imaging centre operations.
- Any other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
- Monitor the centre’s revenue, operating expenses and overall financial performance against the approved budget.
- Support revenue growth and cost-control initiatives to improve the centre’s operational and financial performance.
- Monitor patient volume, modality utilisation, manpower costs, consumables and other key operational expenses
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in healthcare, medical centre, diagnostic imaging, or related healthcare operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Experience in managing day-to-day healthcare/imaging centre operations, including patient services, scheduling, billing, claims and administrative functions.
- Proven experience in managing operational budgets, revenue, operating expenses, manpower costs and cost-control initiatives.
- Experience in monitoring patient volumes, modality/equipment utilisation, operational KPIs and financial performance.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to lead frontline and administrative teams.
- Strong financial acumen and business sense, with the ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with radiologists, radiographers, healthcare professionals, patients, sales and other internal departments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills, with a patient-centric and service-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant healthcare/clinic management systems.
