Principle Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting production processes and daily operations for new and existing products for assigned Business Units to optimize efficiency and performance.

Scope of Duties:

1. Process & Production Engineering

i) Develop, implement, and standardize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.

ii) Support production lines by troubleshooting technical issues and minimizing downtime.

iii)Drive process capability improvement (Cp/Cpk, yield, cycle time).

2. Continuous Improvement (CI)

i) Lead Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma initiatives across the plant.

ii) Identify waste and implement cost-saving projects.

iii) Champion 80/20 improvement, 6S, and value stream mapping activities.

3. New Product Introduction (NPI)

i) Lead engineering support for new product launches.

ii) Ensure smooth ramp-up to mass production.

iii) Coordinate with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams.

4. Automation & Technology

i) Drive automation and digitalization initiatives (Industry 4.0 where applicable).

ii) Evaluate and implement new equipment, tooling, and technologies.

iii) Improve labor productivity through process innovation.

5. Team Leadership & Development

i) Manage and coach a team of Manufacturing / Process Engineers.

ii) Build technical competency and succession plans.

iii) Set clear KPIs and performance goals for the team.

6. Cost & Efficiency Management

i) Manage engineering-related CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

ii) Deliver cost reduction targets (material, labor, overhead).

iii)Monitor and improve KPIs such as:

- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

- Scrap/reject rate

- Cycle time

- On-time delivery

7. Quality & Compliance

i) Ensure processes comply with internal and external quality standards (ISO, GMP if applicable).

ii) Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

iii) Support audits and regulatory requirements.

8. Cross-functional Collaboration

i) Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning.

ii) Act as the technical interface for customers and suppliers when needed.

9. Other duties as assigned.

Requiremenets:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Hands on experience in all quality department and has management experience and able to multitask.
• Experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced working in US based MNC is added advantage

Pay: Up to RM13,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

• working in Cleanroom Environment: 3 years (Preferred)
