BIM Coordinator / Senior BIM Coordinator – for a regional market leader in industrial project development

Roles

1. Incumbent will be part of the BIM team working on BIM project in area of BIM Coordination & BIM application. Role of the BIM Coordinator is not limited to just coordinating but producing views also known as drawings in BIM.
2. Assist in maintaining BIM systems and standards for construction projects and good BIM practices.
3. Assist for BIM Coordination offsite & onsite implementation.
4. Explore 3D BIM authoring tools to leverage on the capability to enhance construction productivity.
5. To co-ordinate and produce co-ordination drawings for construction, equipment layout and plinth, producing documents & drawings for approval & construction.
6. To produce the section whenever necessary.
7. Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling.
8. Adhere to the BIM Project Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
9. Work under direction of design professional and BIM Discipline Lead
10. Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
11. Ability to interchange /convert formats for collaboration internally and externally.
12. Leveraging BIM software and tools as a method to coordinate design documentation
13. Assist Project Manager to co-ordinate whatever necessary for projects

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a construction project.
2. Diploma or similar in one of the following disciplines: Building (Architecture, Industrial Design, Projects & Facilities Management); Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Infrastructure);
3. Candidates with hands on experience in BIM Authoring tools & BIM reviewing tools and software preferred.
4. Passionate about BIM / VDC & Construction productivity.
5. Able to work independently as well as a team.
6. Knowledge & familiarity with one of the following software: Revit Architecture/ Revit Structure / Revit MEP / AutoCAD will be an advantage.
7. Industry experience on a construction project will be an advantage.
