Job Purpose
Support daily finance operations, including employee claims, vendor invoices, payments, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, treasury administration, and cash-flow monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process employee claims and vendor invoices with complete supporting documents and approvals.
- Prepare vendor, employee, statutory, and other operational payments.
- Maintain accurate AP and AR records, ageing reports, and supporting schedules.
- Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the full AP process, including vendor setup, invoice processing, payment, and reconciliation.
- Assist with month-end closing, accruals, audit schedules, and document requests.
- Support banking administration, KYC documentation, and authorised-signatory updates.
- Monitor cash balances, upcoming payments, funding needs, and account transfers.
- Coordinate with employees, vendors, banks, and internal teams to resolve finance-related matters.
- Follow internal controls, approval requirements, and finance policies.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, or general accounting.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, AP/AR processes, payments, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with accounting or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with employees, vendors, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
