Seeking a driven and service-oriented Centre Lead to lead the daily operations of our education centre. The ideal candidate is a former or current educator who can run operations end-to-end, deliver excellent customer service, support and lead the teaching team, and personally be equipped to teach one subject — while achieving enrolment and retention goals.

Key Responsibilities

Centre Operations & Administration

•    Oversee daily operations and ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment.

•    Coordinate class schedules and teacher assignments.

•    Ensure SOPs, policies, and administrative processes are followed.

Teaching

•    Teach one subject — Mathematics, Chemistry at Secondary/IB/A-Level, for a defined portion of the week.

•    Maintain lesson quality and track student progress for your own teaching load, modelling the standard expected of the wider tutor team.

Customer Service & Parent Communication

•    Serve as the main point of contact for parents and students.

•    Build and maintain strong relationships with parents to support retention.

•    Use technology effectively to handle/communicate enquiries, registrations, schedules and feedback clearly and on time.

Team & Staff Management

•    Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of part-time and full-time tutors.

•    Monitor staff attendance, performance, and adherence to policies.

•    Lead regular team meetings and foster a collaborative working culture.

Sales & Marketing Support

•    Drive centre enrolments through effective lead conversion and upselling.

•    Coordinate centre-level events and parent engagement initiatives.

Requirements

•    Former or current teacher, with subject depth in Mathematics or Chemistry.

•    Minimum 5 years of combined teaching and customer-facing/education centre experience.

•    Prior experience in a centre management, head of department, or equivalent operational leadership role preferred.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•    Strong leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
