About the role

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team at Pan-International Wire & Cable (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Perai, Penang. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, which are essential components for various industries. What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement effective quality control processes and procedures to meet or exceed industry standards

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify and resolve any quality issues

• Analyse data and generate detailed reports to track quality metrics and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate cross-functionally with production and engineering teams to optimize quality processes

• Provide technical guidance and training to production staff on quality control best practices

• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards and trends to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality-focused role within the manufacturing industries

• Strong understanding of quality control principles, statistical process control and root cause analysis

• Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment, such as measurement devices, testing apparatus, and data analysis software

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
