Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture and Strategy
- Strategize, plan, and oversee the implementation and support of infrastructure solutions, including cloud infrastructure and security architecture for platforms such as AWS, Azure, Huawei, Alibaba, and traditional data centers.
- Lead the design and delivery of tailored solutions that align with client requirements, ensuring successful implementation under high-pressure scenarios. Responsibilities include solution design, Proof of Concept (POC) verifications, and traditional IT cloud solution architecture for public cloud projects.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery by providing architectural oversight, ensuring integration of infrastructure, systems, and applications with existing environments and business objectives.
- Serve as a technical advisor to clients, delivering strategic guidance and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Enhance governance by developing and refining policies, standards, and frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards and successful delivery outcomes, including post-mortem reviews and delivery playbooks.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Partner with Pre-Sales and Cloud Architects to identify and progress new cloud opportunities, including demand analysis, solution demonstrations, and tender responses.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration by onboarding technical teams with solution knowledge, engaging vendors and partners as required.
- Support the Marketing team with technical expertise for product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (POC) activities.
Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge
- A degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in infrastructure implementation, migration, or support.
- Proven experience in delivering infrastructure projects and designing solutions for cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, Huawei, and Alibaba, as well as on-premises technologies (data centers, virtualization, hyper-convergence, security).
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of infrastructure stacks, including x86, Unix, storage, networks, security, servers, desktops/laptops, and devices.
- Advanced understanding of Linux and Windows Server Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in IT lifecycle management and ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Patch Management).
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking abilities to manage multiple complex projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated project leadership experience, successfully managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with client organizational models and tailoring IT solutions to meet privacy and compliance requirements.
- Pre-sales experience, application architecture expertise, and/or AWS/Azure cloud certification are added advantages.
