Project Testing Engineer – Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduates from local universities, particularly Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with experience in electrical testing and commissioning will be given preference.
• Possess basic knowledge of electrical power systems, protection systems, switchgear, transformers, and power quality.
• Experience or knowledge in Grid Code Testing, Protection Relay Testing, Power Quality Measurement, and testing and commissioning activities will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and related software will be an added advantage.
• Able to interpret single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, technical specifications, and testing procedures.
• Able to prepare testing reports, method statements, test plans, and other project documentation.
• Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.
• Willing to work outside normal working hours when required by the project schedule.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Malaysian citizens are preferred.
