The position will support the team in generating business performance insights through data collection, report preparation, and the application of business intelligence tools.

The role will contribute to the

• development of visual dashboards,
• assist with budgeting and costing activities,
• support procurement,
• financial reporting, and
• risk monitoring processes.

This position is well-suited to an analytical thinker who is eager to learn, can manage multiple tasks with supervision, and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development, implementation, and rollout of data-driven solutions and Business Intelligence (BI) tools that enable effective strategic planning, improve performance tracking, and support informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with Management Units to gather, verify, and analyse data to support accurate costing and financial feasibility assessments for new and existing projects, courses, and activities, while contributing insights to the evaluation of potential new initiatives and strategic directions.
• Leverage business intelligence (BI) tools and technologies to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of reports that support the monitoring and implementation of the University-wide Campus Plan and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Management Units to collect, validate, and analyze data for accurate project costing and financial feasibility assessments.
• Leverage BI technologies to produce timely, accurate, and reliable financial and operational reports.
• Assist in budget planning by gathering and analyzing data to support financial forecasts and projections.
• Prepare procurement reports, financial dashboards, and variance analyses to aid management reviews.
• Track budget utilization and expenditure trends to identify potential financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improved resource allocation.
• Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial documentation and records in accordance with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to understand and clarify requirements, coordinate project activities, and monitor progress to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
• Maintain and improve reporting templates, process documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to anticipate needs and provide practical, data-driven solutions.
• Drive continuous process improvement, foster cross-functional collaboration, and deliver timely, high-quality services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computing, Information Technology, or a related field; or a professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Diploma holders with at least three (3) years of relevant experience in data analytics are encouraged to apply.
• Additional qualifications in Accounting or a business-related field will be an added advantage.
• Strong proficiency in BI and technology tools such as Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, Python, or equivalent platforms is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities, organize workloads, and deliver results within tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and attention to detail in analyzing, and producing accurate and reliable financial information.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
