About the role
FionN Dessein Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic design and build team. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, where you will take the lead in overseeing build projects from inception through to successful completion. As Project Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical to our operations, as you will be responsible for coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing resources, and driving project success across all phases of development.
Key responsibilities
Planning and scheduling project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure projects progress efficiently and meet deadlines.
Managing project budgets, costs and financial forecasting to maintain profitability and financial control.
Coordinating and supervising site operations, and subcontractors.
Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project consultants to maintain clear communication and manage expectations.
Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and safety requirements.
Identifying and managing project risks, implementing mitigation strategies and resolving issues as they arise.
Preparing project reports, documentation and regular progress updates for senior management and clients.
Conducting site inspections and quality audits to ensure work meets specifications and contractual requirements.
Managing procurement of materials and coordinating logistics to support project needs.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, building codes and safety standards
Proven track record in successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from planning through completion
Excellent budget and financial management skills, with demonstrated ability to control costs and maintain project profitability
Outstanding organisational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and teams at all levels
Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering or a related field is advantageous
Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be highly valued
