Job Responsibilities:
Preparation of quotations, sample supplies, sales materials etc
Responsible for new account opening and credit applications
Handle customer enquiries via emails and phone calls
Manage products for reservation allocation and promotion purpose
Maintain database to drive accuracy and completeness
Liaise with other departments to fulfil customers’ requests and orders
Provide sales and administrative support to the Sales team
Assist with marketing activities such as food events or product launch
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager
Requirements:
Diploma in Business /Marketing/Sales
At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Able to multi-task and work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, hardworking and organized in work
Our Companies, Gan Teck Kar Investments Pte Ltd in Singapore, (established 1991) and Gan Teck Kar Foods Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, (established 1995), distribute premium, natural and organic foods products to both the retail and foodservice sectors. We are a privately held company, incorporated in Singapore.
We have logistical expertise to handle dry, chilled, and frozen products. Our marketing and distribution activities range from servicing major supermarket and hypermarket chains to the foodservice sector, which includes hotels, restaurants, cafes, wholesalers, ships and airlines. We work selectively with vendors and manufacturers who are socially responsible and whose sources are sustainable. We aim to provide a comprehensive range of premium quality wholesome and great tasting products to the consumers.
The company employs a dynamic team of slightly more than 100 employees from logistics, warehousing, customer service to sales, and marketing. The working environment is friendly, dynamic and collaborative where communication is open between CEO and staff.
