Job Description
o Perform source system analysis and data discovery.
o Develop migration plans, timelines, and cutover activities.
o Assess migration risks and mitigation strategies.
o Define field-level data mappings and transformation rules.
o Identify data cleansing requirements.
o Validate business rules with functional stakeholders.
o Extract data from multiple source systems.
o Transform data according to business requirements.
o Load data into target applications.
o Monitor migration performance and resolve failures.
o Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent data.
o Execute cleansing and enrichment activities.
o Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
o Perform reconciliation between source and target systems.
o Validate migrated data with business users.
o Resolve migration defects.
o Support mock migrations and dress rehearsals.
o Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams.
o Support hypercare after go-live.
o Maintain mapping documents.
o Document migration procedures.
o Produce reconciliation reports.
o Maintain audit evidence.

- We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to design, develop, and execute end-to-end data migration activities across enterprise applications.
- The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure accurate, secure, and timely migration of data from legacy systems into target platforms while maintaining data quality and integrity.
- Migration Planning
o Perform source system analysis and data discovery.

- Data Analysis & Mapping

o Identify data cleansing requirements.

- Data Extraction, Transformation & Loading (ETL)
o Extract data from multiple source systems.
o Transform data according to business requirements.
o Load data into target applications.
o Monitor migration performance and resolve failures.
- Data Quality
o Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent data.
o Execute cleansing and enrichment activities.
o Ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Testing & Validation
o Perform reconciliation between source and target systems.
o Validate migrated data with business users.
o Resolve migration defects.
- Cutover & Deployment
o Support mock migrations and dress rehearsals.
o Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams.
o Support hypercare after go-live.
- Documentation
o Maintain mapping documents.

Required Skills::
- At least 5 years of experience in data migration or data engineering.
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation or migration programmes.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools.
- Experience migrating structured and unstructured data.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
