M&E Drafter

Job Descriptions

Responsible for production of shop drawings and detailed construction issues;

Prepare detailed M&E drawings using AutoCAD (or other relevant drafting software).

Draft layouts, single-line diagrams, schematics, and coordination drawings for M&E systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection).

Collaborate with engineers to revise and update drawings as required.

Ensure all drawings comply with regulatory codes, company standards, and project requirements.

Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions and version control.

Conduct site visits when necessary to coordinate design with actual conditions.

Ensures the drawings comply with specifications and company standards;

Manages multiple projects concurrently and accurately in a timely manner through workload prioritisation;

Prepares documents and transmittal form for submissions;

Consults with key personnel in the project planning on necessary details in the preparation of drawings;

Ensures that all materials are detailed and accounted for in erection drawings;

Collaborates with quality supervisor to guarantee adherence to specification;

Explains drawings to production or project teams and provide adjustments as necessary;

Job Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other related software.

Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of local M&E standards and building codes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Architectural Drafter

Job Descriptions

Responsible for production of shop drawings and detailed construction issues;

In charge of all drawing development required by the project;

Prepares detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction;

Prepares drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works;

Maintains, updates and makes amendments to drawings as needed;

Performs site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication;

Analyses and interprets changes to drawings;

Ensures the drawings comply with specifications and company standards;

Understands the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings ensuring that the drawings are easily understood by the project teams;

Ensures the proper indexing, filing and storage of drawings in both hardcopy and electronic media;

Manages multiple projects concurrently and accurately in a timely manner through workload prioritisation;

Prepares documents and transmittal form for submissions;

Consults with key personnel in the project planning on necessary details in the preparation of drawings;

Studies drawings and other pertinent papers in preparation for fabrication or erection drawings;

Ensures that all materials are detailed and accounted for in erection drawings;

Collaborates with quality supervisor to guarantee adherence to specification;

Explains drawings to production or project teams and provide adjustments as necessary;

Job Requirements

Degree or certification in drafting or a related field preferred

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).

Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

Ability to interpret complex technical sketches and diagrams.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

Familiarity with construction

Ability to prepare MEP drawings is preferred.
