Job Summary

Prepare and maintain key accounting schedules and support financial reporting and project accounting activities to ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), fixed asset, and intercompany schedules to ensure accurate financial records
Assist with project accounting by preparing supporting schedules for month-end closing to facilitate timely reporting
Prepare schedules and documentation to support Group consolidation and financial reporting processes for compliance and accuracy
Perform account reconciliations and analysis during month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure data integrity
Execute ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as assigned to support operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

Hold LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, or other relevant accounting qualifications
Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
Possess strong experience in full-set accounting and financial closing processes
Apply good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
Exhibit strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
