Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Fire Protection Services
Position Title: Drafter
Working Location: Sims Ave (7mins walk from Aljunied MRT)
Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8.30AM – 5.30PM)
Salary Package: Basic $1,500 - $2,800 + VB
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and revise Fire Plan (FP) system layout drawings and Building Plan (BP) drawings.
Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to coordinate fire protection systems.
Use CAD software to create and edit drawings.
Ensure all drawings comply with local codes and standards (e.g., NFPA) and meet client requirements.
Maintain drawing documentation and assist with submissions to relevant authorities.
Make revisions based on feedback from engineers, consultants, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
Organize and manage all drawing files and project documents.
Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Experience as a drafter in the fire protection industry is an advantage.
Diploma or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
Understanding of fire codes (e.g., NFPA and SCDF local fire safety regulations).
