General Manager, Jewellery

Reporting to CEO

About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on General Manager to lead and scale our jewellery retail business.

This role has full accountability for overall business performance and will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving growth, strengthening operational excellence across our retail network.

This role will execute strategic plans and ensure operational excellence across retail stores and e-commerce.

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, retail expertise, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver sustainable results in a competitive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Growth

• Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and expansion targets
• Identify new growth opportunities, including new retail locations and partnerships
• Drive brand positioning and strengthen market presence

Marketing & Brand Growth

• Oversee marketing strategies and campaigns to drive traffic, brand relevance and conversion
• Work closely with marketing teams to strengthen brand positioning, improve customer engagement and retention
• Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and retail execution to maximise impact

Retail & Operations Management

• Provide leadership and oversight across all retail operations to ensure consistent execution, productivity and service excellence
• Drive sales performance through effective store operations, people management and customer experience
• Ensure operational controls, inventory discipline, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Team Leadership & Management

• Build, lead, and manage cross-functional teams including retail, sales, operations, and marketing
• Foster a strong performance culture with clear accountability, capability development and succession planning
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Finance, HR, Merchandising and Senior Leadership

Financial Management

• Manage budgets, P&L, cost control, and financial planning
• Ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets
• Monitor operational costs and improve efficiency

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in retail, preferably within jewellery, fashion or lifestyle sectors
• Strong business acumen with experience managing full business operations and PnL
• Solid experience overseeing multi-store retail operations, marketing and cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership
