We’re Hiring: Fundraiser | Kuala Lumpur

Are you someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicating with others and working towards meaningful goals?

We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Fundraising Team in Kuala Lumpur.

As a Fundraiser, you will engage with members of the public, introduce them to UNICEF’s work and inspire them to become regular supporters of children and their communities.

What you’ll be doing

• Engage with the public through face-to-face fundraising
• Share UNICEF’s mission and the impact of its work
• Encourage individuals to become monthly donors
• Represent UNICEF at events, roadshows and community activities
• Build positive and meaningful conversations with potential supporters
• Work towards individual and team fundraising targets
• Maintain accurate donor information and activity records

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need previous fundraising experience. We provide structured training and ongoing coaching to help you develop the skills required for the role.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Confident and comfortable speaking with new people
• Positive, energetic and willing to learn
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
• A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a face-to-face environment
• Able to communicate well in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage

Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, events or fundraising is an advantage, but not essential.
