Today, Bursa Malaysia operates and regulates a multi-asset exchange, offering a comprehensive range of investment, capital raising and exchange-related facilities.

Role Description The Manager, Emerging Markets Development is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role is to focus on initiatives and strategies aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of Bursa Malaysia as the preferred listing destination to potential companies/issuers (local or foreign) across the three listing platform i.e. MAIN Market, ACE Market and LEAP Market.

Qualifications/Key Responsibilties

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or any other relevant capital market related field
• Minimum 5 years working experience in corporate finance and/or client coverage role in one of the top local investment banks/licensed banks
• Relevant knowledge/past participation in corporate finance, especially in structuring and executing IPO mandates
• Experience in marketing/origination or corporate finance from investment banks/licensed banks
• Sound knowledge of the capital markets (particularly listing requirements and SC guidelines relating to IPO), applicable laws and Malaysian regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to write/prepare/present complex information clearly
• Relevant relationship management experience
• Self motivated to generate leads for IPO and able to work independently to build a healthy IPO pipeline for Bursa Malaysia
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
• Familiar with the products and services offered by Bursa Malaysia
• Provide administrative and other ad hoc support to assist the team in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
