About the role

Hong Kong Misting Limited designs and installs mist cooling systems, HVLS fans and dehumidifiers for property, hospitality, F&B, schools and contractors in Hong Kong. We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Projects & Operations to be a right-hand person to the Director who will keep three things moving on schedule: product development, our Singapore operation, and Hong Kong project coordination. This is not an engineering role — you will not design equipment — but you will be the person who makes sure factory, sales, sub-contractor and warehouse all deliver on time.

Key responsibilities

• Product development (~40%) — run the weekly progress meeting, keep the timeline and action log, chase blockers; coordinate sourcing, samples and production with Mainland China factories; travel with the Director to factories as needed.

• Singapore business support (~30%, managed remotely) — own the weekly sales activity report and pipeline; hold a weekly call with the Singapore team; check invoices and contract terms before issue; supervise the Singapore operations staff (distributor coordination, stock, deliveries with HK warehouse); visit Singapore about once a quarter for 3–5 days.

• Hong Kong project support (~30%) — first point of contact for our installation sub-contractor; prepare quotation drafts; track site schedules, deliveries and T&C; keep project records.

About you

• 3–6 years in project coordination, merchandising / sourcing, or business operations, ideally in an SME, trading or building-services company.

• Fluent written and spoken English — you will communicate daily with our Singapore team and overseas contacts. Written English will be tested at interview.

• Cantonese; Mandarin sufficient to work with Mainland factories.

• Willing to travel approx. 20–30% (Singapore quarterly, Mainland China as needed).

• Strong follow-up habits, comfortable chasing people to their deadlines, self-directed, good with Excel / Google Sheets.

• Building services / E&M project coordination background, or an engineering diploma, is an advantage — but this is a coordination role, not a design role.

• Experience with Mainland manufacturers, B2B project sales or managing remote staff is an advantage. Engineering degree not required.
