ABOUT RIDA

Rida is a Singapore-based technology company building AI-powered solutions for logistics, delivery and business operations.

Our platform combines operational software, route optimisation and delivery workflows with AIDA, our AI platform connecting business conversations with enterprise systems and actions.

We are hiring a Business Central developer to build and maintain integrations between AIDA, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and customer systems.

THE ROLE

You will own Business Central development and integration work, from understanding requirements and designing extensions to testing, deployment and production support.

An example workflow is converting a WhatsApp customer request into a validated sales order: retrieving customer-specific pricing and product information, creating the order in Business Central, supporting approval steps and returning its status to AIDA.

You will work with Rida’s engineering team, customer stakeholders and their existing Microsoft implementation partners. Your work will help establish reusable integration capabilities across customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and maintain Business Central extensions using AL, including tables, pages, codeunits and event subscribers.

• Build and consume standard and custom APIs connecting Business Central with AIDA and external systems.

• Integrate customer records, products, pricing, inventory, sales orders and order-status updates.

• Translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions, using standard Business Central functionality where appropriate.

• Implement validation, approval handoffs, error handling, retries and controls to prevent duplicate transactions.

• Configure integration authentication and permissions in collaboration with customer administrators.

• Work with customer implementation partners on customisations, dependencies and deployment requirements.

• Test integrations in sandbox environments, support user acceptance testing and manage production releases.

• Diagnose production issues and maintain clear technical documentation.

• Turn customer-specific learning into reusable integration components.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Typically 3+ years of relevant Business Central or Dynamics NAV development experience, including recent hands-on AL work.

• Demonstrated experience delivering Business Central extensions and external-system integrations.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, OData and authentication for system integrations.

• Working understanding of sales orders, customer pricing, inventory and related business processes.

• Experience with Git, debugging, testing and controlled software releases.

• Ability to independently investigate issues and take work through to completion.

• Clear written and spoken English for collaboration with customers and colleagues.

• Based in Malaysia and able to work with a Singapore-based team during shared business hours.

Candidates with fewer years but strong, relevant delivery experience are welcome to apply. Hands-on Business Central development experience is essential.

NICE TO HAVE

• Business Central SaaS deployment and extension-upgrade experience.

• Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Functions, Logic Apps or Power Automate.

• JavaScript/TypeScript or Node.js integration development.

• Experience working for a Microsoft Dynamics implementation partner.

• Exposure to distribution, logistics, healthcare or other operationally complex businesses.

• Experience with AI-enabled workflows or conversational platforms.

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.

• Deliver and test an end-to-end workflow covering relevant master data, sales-order creation and status updates.

• Establish a reusable foundation for subsequent Business Central integrations.
