My client is looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA, Oracle EBS) to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration, ensuring database availability, performance, security, and reliability. Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server and/or MySQL is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments to ensure high availability, performance, and stability.

• Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and migration activities.

• Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Implement and maintain database security, user access controls, and compliance requirements.

• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents, issues, and system outages.

• Support application teams with database design reviews, query optimization, and capacity planning.

• Create and maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology projects.

• Provide production support and participate in on-call support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years of experience in Database Administration.

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.

• Experience with database installation, configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security management, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or MySQL is an advantage.

• Experience supporting mission-critical and high-availability database environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (spoken and written).
