Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a talented Software Test Engineer with great attention to detail and strong problem solving ability to join our software team. You will be responsible for examining all aspects of the products/applications, performing tests, and implementing test automation. If you are forward thinking engineer that can bring software quality improvement ideas and new strategies to lead the company forward, we would love to talk to you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. All test procedure execution, reproduction, and issue submission/tracking to the ticketing system.

2. Work with RD/PM (including BIOS/HW/Software/BMC engineers) to clarify issues or enhance test procedures.

3. Create/review/maintain BIOS setup template/user manual documents.

4. Create new test cases, enhance and modify SOP, including BIOS/software/tools.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related department in Electronics.

2. Over 2 years of experience in Server BIOS testing is preferred.

3. Priority experienced with System/Server/PC Software Testing.

4. Good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering.

5. Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies.

6. Good internal communication skills.

7. Good written and verbal communication skills.

8. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

9. Able to read and write document and test report in English.

10. Analysis skill on faults and bugs found.
