Company Description

Azentiq Nexus is a Singapore-based company building software for people who work under regulation. It is small, early, and unusual in one specific way: a small human team works alongside a large number of its own AI agents, every day, on real work, across engineering, research and design. The way we build is also the thing we are building. Azentiq Nexus Consulting is a separate practice with a separate team, advising regulated businesses on their own obligations, and this role sits on the product side rather than there. Azentiq Nexus was founded and is led by Anson Zeall.

Role Description

This is a fixed-fee contract of around three months, working remotely. You would work directly with our CEO and CTO on the interface for a product that lets teams create AI agents and put them to work in the tools they already use.

Three surfaces need designing. Agent creation and configuration, which is how someone builds an agent and sets what it can see and do, and is mostly a configuration problem of permissions, settings, states and defaults. Theming an existing open-source application so it looks like ours, which means extending someone else’s design system rather than inventing one. And activity views, showing what the agents actually did so someone can review it.

You would hand over flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and handoff files an engineer can build from. There is no design team above you and no research function, so you would work from what we already know rather than running a research programme. Engineering builds alongside you, so expect questions and rework after screens are handed over.

Qualifications

We are not filtering on years of experience or on degrees. We care about the following.

• Comfortable designing dense configuration interfaces. Settings, permissions, admin surfaces, forms with real complexity.

• Experience working inside an existing design system, extending it rather than replacing it.

• Able to take an unclear problem and come back with something concrete to react to.

• Fluent in Figma, and quick from a rough idea to something clickable.

• Clear written communication. Much of the team is remote or agentic.

• Comfortable working directly with founders, with no product manager in between.

If your portfolio is mostly consumer apps, landing pages and marketing sites, this is probably not the right fit, and we would rather you knew that now.
