We are pleased to be supporting a large established client within the not-for-profit sector to appoint a HR Shared Services Manager (circa. SGD$91k-104k annual base) into their People team. This is a full-time, permanent position created to strengthen the HRSS/Operations function and build internal succession depth within the organisation. This role is to be based in Singapore, on a hybrid work arrangement.

Job Description

This is a hands-on leadership role with a clear succession and capability-building mandate. The organisation is deliberately strengthening its HR pipeline so that strong operators can progressively step up and provide continuity and depth as the function evolves.

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 4–5 junior HR team members
• Own day-to-day HR operations and shared services delivery for the Singapore workforce (approximately 1,500 employees)
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and operational excellence
• Strengthen workforce planning, capability building and internal succession readiness within the HR function
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure reliable, efficient and compliant HR support

In sum, this mandate spans end-to-end operational delivery, process improvement, and building more robust, scalable ways of working.

The Successful Candidate

• Solid experience in HR operations / shared services, preferably in a managerial or team-lead capacity
• Proven ability to lead and develop junior talents
• Strong process orientation with a track record of improving operational effectiveness
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment while also thinking about longer-term capability and succession
