We are looking for a Primary Mathematics Teacher who is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with Primary school students.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging and effective Primary Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus
• Provide individualised academic support and guidance to students where required
• Monitor students' learning progress and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding students' learning and progress
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments and other teaching resources
• Contribute to curriculum development and improvement of teaching materials
• Participate in teacher training, departmental meetings, mentoring and professional development activities
• Support workshops, webinars, one-off classes and other academic programmes when required
• Contribute to centre initiatives and other reasonable duties assigned by Management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Education or a related field
• Singaporean or Singapore PR
• Strong understanding of the Singapore Primary Mathematics syllabus
• Must be educated in the Singapore education system
• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
• Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as within a team
• Able to work at least one weekend day, with Sunday availability preferred
• Comfortable submitting a short teaching demonstration video based on a question provided by us as part of our screening process

Experienced teachers and candidates with strong tutoring experience are welcome to apply.
